On May 9th, Whethan and Jeremih released a new song called “Let me Take you.”
This song is a different tone for the R&B rapper so when I heard it I was surprised. It was nothing I was expecting at all. Instead of R&B, I heard EDM which, like I said, is a different tone than what I was expecting.
I was pleasantly surprised though. At first, I didn’t think I was going to like it because I didn’t think it was going to fit, but after listening to it repeatedly, I started to see it’s potential. It is a perfect rave or clubbing song. It has this dangerous but seductive vibe that most people will probably follow in love with. You can get the EDM vibe from the beats but also dance along to the R&B twist it has.
