“BMO,” by Ari Lennox. The second song off of her new album “Shea Butter Baby.” The song came out with the rest of the album on May 7th and was one of the fan favorites.
Though it was my first time ever hearing about Lennox, I found myself easily vibing with the song. It has a nice and sultry beat that makes you think you can have the whole world wrapped around your finger.
Lennox uses her smooth runs to add more flavor to the song, but the part that surprised me was her choice to use a catchy saying as part of her song. Either way, I enjoyed the song and I can’t wait to listen to the rest of the album to see what other gems she has.
